• The biggest update in Simple.Savr history! Everything rebuilt completely from scratch (again!) with a brand new design
• A fresh new logo and look — same Simple.Savr, sharper outfit
• Pages now switch instantly without reloading. Everything feels up to 2x faster
• Sync is now truly live: anything you type shows up on your other devices within a second — no refreshing, no buttons. File uploads and deletes appear the same way
• Two people typing at once? Nobody's words get silently lost anymore — you get a gentle heads-up instead, and devices that go offline catch up on their own the moment they're back
• NEW: Secret Notes! Have something sensitive to share — a password, a private message, a file? Send it as a self-destructing link or QR code that burns the moment it gets read. Encrypted in your browser, so not even we can read it. Add a password, set an expiry timer, and get notified when someone opens it
• Secret notes take files, too: attachments are encrypted in your browser before they ever leave your device — we only ever store scrambled ciphertext, never your files or even their names. The recipient's browser decrypts them on download, and bigger files upload in chunks with live progress
• Secret note links are short and tidy — easy to paste into a chat, clean as a QR code, same zero-knowledge encryption
• Your notes have a home base too: see every note you've created, check whether it's been opened, and destroy any of them early
• Dark mode is now everywhere, not just the home page. Light, dark, or follow your system
• Copy a file or a screenshot and just paste it into the page. It uploads on its own. Drag & drop works too
• Link devices that are NOT on the same network by scanning a QR code (or typing a 6-digit code). You can even send the link ahead: it arrives with the code already filled in, so connecting is one tap
• Smarter clickable links that open exactly the way you want
• Simple.Savr now speaks 4 languages: English, French, Spanish, and Chinese
• Public savrs got a full glow-up with markdown formatting and optional passwords
• A privacy policy you can actually read. No legalese
• Nothing lingers: files clean themselves up after 7 days, secret notes within 30 days. Always
• Filter the FAQ by category, and every answer now has its own page you can link people straight to
• The whole app learned to move: subtle animations everywhere, from the features page to the moment a secret note reveals itself. (Respects your reduced-motion setting, always)
• Ad settings and some general settings reset - if you disabled ads, you will need to re-disable them. If you had a custom max upload size, you will need to set it again. Sorry, but this was necessary to make the new version work properly.
